Volunteer and Community Service

Volunteers are truly a gift to the community.  Wikipedia defines Volunteering as: “Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity where an individual or group provides services for no financial gain “”to benefit another person, group or        organization.”” We need you to come along side us and help us take our schools,       communities and families back from the grasp of substance abuse, DWI’s and violent crimes.  Volunteering with us is not for the faint of heart.  If you are ready to fight call us today. 210.824.5537

The ACETS Community Service Program is designed and exists to give individuals who are required to compete community services hours by the justice systems the opportunity to experience high quality volunteer opportunities.  At ACETS  our Community Service Program is designed to help the offender see what continuing on their current track can do.  We involve them in the day to day operations of a 501(c)3 organization by involving them in fundraising events, administrative support, and reflection time at the end of each community service day.  In this    reflection time they must journal about their offense and the effects of their community service involvement on future decisions.  It is a great opportunity for the offender to learn, from a deeper level,  where bad choices can lead.   Offenders are put through orientation where they will learn what is expected from them during their service time.  Call us today to sign up.  210.824.5537
