Our mission is to change lives by empowering our communities to prevent substance abuse and its related problems at home, school and work with proven, practical resources, prevention education and advocacy.

Our Vision:

Is to be the premier resource for substance abuse prevention and education in San Antonio and Bexar County by changing lives, and saving Futures.

From its humble beginnings 22 years ago The Alamo Center has grown into one of San Antonio’s premier quality education center to individuals in need of satisfying requirements set forth by the criminal  justice system.  In 2017 John Mejia form Alamo Center Education and Treatment Services, Inc.  What make us different from all the other programs out there?  We are not in the business to profit but to meet real problems plaguing our schools, communities and justice system, we are a 501(c)3 organization.  We live our Mission and Vision Statement.  It is no longer acceptable for San Antonio to lead Texas and the nation in DWI deaths, Substance abuse and violent crimes.
