Going into this class, I honestly expected it to be something I just had to get through. Haley completely changed that expectation.
From the very beginning, she treated everyone with kindness, patience, and respect. She never made anyone feel judged or talked down to, and she created an environment where people felt comfortable being honest about difficult experiences. That isn’t easy to do, but she did it exceptionally well.
What stood out to me most was that Haley genuinely seemed to care about the people in her class. She listened, encouraged participation, and helped us reflect on our choices in a way that felt constructive instead of condemning. She has a calm, compassionate way of teaching that made even uncomfortable conversations feel worthwhile.
Thank you, Haley, for the time, energy, and heart you put into this class. You made a required course feel meaningful, and I truly appreciate the way you treated every person with dignity and understanding. I wish you nothing but success, and I hope you know the positive impact you’ve had on the people who have come through your classroom.

Honestly, Haley was excellent. She clearly knows the subject matter very well, and the fact that she has been through a similar situation herself gives her a unique perspective and sensitivity when teaching. She understands what we’re going through, which makes it much easier for us to relate to and understand the material. She’s also very intelligent, gets straight to the point, and keeps the class engaging and enjoyable, which helps everyone stay focused and involved.

Great instructor, but content needs serious improvement for any sort of impact. If this course has had demonstrable impact on reducing the instances of driving while intoxicated or under the influence, it would have much more impact if filmed and cited in this decade.

Drug Offenders Education Program

Has your Texas driver's license been suspended because of a drug charge?

Section 521.371-521.377 of the Texas Transportation Code states that if a person is convicted of a drug related misdemeanor or felony, their driver’s license will be suspended for six months. To restore their license, they must attend a drug education program approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and successfully complete it. If they fail to complete the program, their license will be revoked indefinitely until they complete the education program.

If the person did not have a driver’s license at the time of the offense, they will not be issued one for 180 days. This restriction, known as an Order of Prohibition, begins when they contact the Department seeking information on obtaining a driver’s license. For more information, please visit the Texas Department of Public Safety’s website.
